David McCormick is a lifelong West Virginian, community leader, and proud business owner. He seeks to be your delegate and your voice for the 82nd District in the West Virginia House of Delegates.
David was born in Morgantown in 1969 and grew up in Logan, WV. He is a product of our public schools and is a proud graduate of West Virginia University. Education has always been important to him,and he is one of 14 family members who attended WVU. David moved to Morgantown, WV in 1999 and has always been driven by his entrepreneurial spirit. In 2013, he founded Omega Commercial Interiors. Omega was started with a card table and a lawn chair in a metal building on Hartman Run Road, Morgantown, WV. From these humble beginnings Omega now has two offices (Morgantown & Charleston) with 16 employees, serving the entire state of WV and the company has done business in 19 other states.

He puts this belief into action every day by employing West Virginians and hiring WVU graduates. David does everything he can to help grow the WV economy through hard work and putting his customers first. He will employ this same approach as your representative in Charleston, WV
David is married to Lisa Robertson, a native of Fairmont, WV, who has been employed by MVB Bank, Inc. for 25 years; she was one of the original 14 employees when the Bank opened in January 1999. David has two stepsons, Corey Wanstreet (Alexa Wanstreet), with three wonderful grandchildren (Elijah, Ezra, and Gabriel) who owns his own electrical contracting company in Fairmont, WV, and Ryan Wanstreet, who is completing his Family Medicine Residency at WVU Medicine.
David is an avid golfer and outdoors man and cherishes family time most of all. You can often find David and Lisa around Morgantown and the great state of WV, enjoying all of the great activities the city and state have to offer. David McCormick has been an outstanding contributor to our community and state for over 25 years. He seeks to take his service to the next level by serving the residents of the 82nd District in the West Virginia House of Delegates.
